Our client is seeking a Payroll Specialist for full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. In This Role, You Will:
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing for multiple employee groups
- Review and validate payroll data, ensuring wages, hours, deductions, and taxes are correct
- Maintain consistent communication with internal teams and employees regarding payroll updates or questions
- Partner with HR and benefits teams to coordinate payroll-related changes
- Research and resolve discrepancies with a professional, solutions-focused approach
- Track and manage weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll cycles
- Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with reporting needs
- Help implement process improvements as the organization continues to grow
- Support special projects or system changes as needed
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably supporting multiple groups or entities
- Experience with ADP, Paylocity, or similar payroll systems
- Strong attention to detail and comfort managing confidential information
- A team-oriented attitude and the ability to communicate clearly and kindly
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset when handling payroll questions or discrepancies
